A lovely display piece for the holidays!
This is a new workshop and quite different from other fused glass classes. The emphasis here is to use Glassline glass paints to decorate a Peace on Earth dove, not to use lots of glass to decorate the piece. The more intricate the painting details, the more interesting the piece will be. The paints are easy to work with, but require patience and attention to detail to get fine results.
You will select from the two dove shapes (about 6" long) and JaYing will precut the shapes for you. After grinding and shaping the glass, you will devote the remaining time to decorating with the paints. The first two photos are painted by JaYing, the other photos are paper painted doves for inspiration.
This workshop is best suited for people who like to paint, are patient and don't mind fussing with details. We will kiln fire the piece, you will pick up in a week.
